The biggest complaint people have about the way the game has been marketed is that it’s all about the big-name stars.
While some of those stars have done well and have had some success with games, the vast majority of the games released so far have been made by a handful of small developers.
In fact, more than half of all new games on the App Store have been developed by fewer than 100 people.
“There’s just not a lot of success out there with indie developers.
So the biggest complaint is that the focus is on big names,” says John Schafer, the founder of Double Fine and a big supporter of the indie model.”
People will be like, ‘What the hell are you doing?
You’re doing all these small studios?’
But you’ve got to be a big name, and the games you make are going to be big and they’re going to sell,” he said.
The idea behind the indie approach is that a small team can create a game that’s not just a cash-in.
“The key thing is, if you don’t have a big, successful developer, you can’t make a game.
You can’t put out a game and get it to the top of the charts and get a big payout,” he says.”
So the way you make a business is, first of all, you’re building the team, and then you need to have the financial resources to do that.”
The way that Double Fine has gone about it is by getting smaller, using a smaller team to make the games, and letting the games evolve as they get bigger.
And, with a lot more time on their hands, they have made some of the most innovative and ambitious games in the history of mobile games.
“We’ve gone from a small game studio to a large game studio.
And we’ve had a lot, a lot less time on the clock than the developers we worked with in the past,” says Schafer.”
But the point of this is to be very ambitious, because there’s so many people working in the industry now, and we’re really just in the infancy stage,” he continued.”
When you’re making a game for the first time, you have to be really careful because the quality of your games, if they’re not great, they’re probably not going to last.
And the same thing happens with sequels and stuff like that.”
He says that the indie-focused model can help to break down barriers.
“I think there are a lot who think that the only way you can succeed is to go to a big studio and make a big game.
And I think that that’s a terrible idea.
And what it really comes down to is the game you’re creating, the way it’s designed, and how it fits into the world.
That’s what matters,” he added.”
Because the biggest thing about the indie thing is it allows you to build something that’s really different than what you’d normally make.
You don’t need to be making the same things every time, so you can go back and tweak the engine and everything.”
You can create something that you want to see a lot and that’s the beauty of this.
Because when you’re really happy with something, you don.
And that’s why we’ve been able to do things like this.

“What you want is to make a quality game that people will buy, and make sure that it actually sells well, so it’s not like ‘Hey, I’m going to make this and then I’m not going get any money from this.'”
“The reason you do it this way is because you have more time to focus on the things you want out of the game,” says Mears.
“Because, even if it’s going to get a bad reception, it’s just a game, so why spend all your time making something that doesn’t have any potential?”
“There are a few indie games that are really great,” he adds.
“But they’re made by very small teams.
And they’re doing this because it’s the best way to do it.””
You get to make something that the developers actually want to make, and that will sell, and it’s great.
And you’re also making money on it, because you’re not just making the money on something that someone else made.””
So it’s kind of a win-win situation.
You get to keep making the games that the studios want to build and they get to continue to make money from it,
